Except I've got this KF8 build on your code and even used your CSS and all it does is crash on my Kindle. I've double checked the code various times, I've imitated everything as best I could, and I can't figure it out. I can't go any farther on troubleshooting this document. Thank you for the tutorial anyway.

This was a great tutorial. Thank you! I especially love the plug and play nature of it, being as I'm very kinesthetic and just don't get it when you explain, explain and not give me a way to do by repeating. The only things I am totally lost by the ParentContainer part, I guess because I had no example to repeat. Still you did a better job explaining this than anywhere else I have looked in the past 3 days.

Thank you for very informative article. I have a web site for sale of my book and know how to write. There is a lot to say about my subject area. I'll start a blog after Christmas.

My book is full of difficulties that make turning into an e-text unlikely. The e-publisher I would deal with has told me that hundreds of hours would be required to prepare it and the cost astronomical.

But I'm ready to go with a .pdf. and have a good copyright lawyer! So can you or any of your readers suggest a secure method of selling the book as a .pdf ? Everything I've thought of nets out to the answer "NO!" . But the tech moves so fast and I know so little about it to begin with that it wouldn't surprise me to hear the word "YES!" from someone.

If Amazon can do it, why can't I?

Mark:

this is hands down - if it works - the single most valuable piece of information I've picked up since I started selling e-books nearly 8 months ago. I'm getting ready to post an urban fantasy novel with amazon's kindle select program and i'll include this page. if it works, i would definitely get back with you for help on at least one other project.

thanks for sharing this info. I went to the Lightning Source site and think you must only be able to see the calculator if you are a registered user of their site. I can't find it anywhere otherwise - or maybe that could just be me!
